News Presenter: Hackney Rovers’ striker Bobby Wilder has
urged fans to get behind the team ahead of the team’s 4th round FA
Cup tie against the mighty Manchester United. Wilder sees tonight’s game at Old
Trafford as an opportunity for players to showcase the talent in the lower
leagues and believes that there could be an upset on the cards.
Bobby Wilder: Well, the Cup’s a real leveller and if we can
sneak a draw and get them back to our place, who knows – we might just do ‘em.
We need our fans to be the 12th man tonight as the boys have never
played on this stage before. It’s a real chance for some of the lads to put
themselves in the shop window.
News Presenter: Full coverage of the game will be on our
sister station SPORT FM LONDON starting at 7:30 this evening… And finally the
weather. A dry, but cold evening across London tonight with lows of 2 degrees. It
should be a little warmer tomorrow and it looks bright and sunny for the
weekend.
