Introduction to Local News Analysis

Having analysed at 10 national news stories I am going to do the same with local news stories in order to establish if there are similar news values and whether or not they contain the 5W's within the stories.





As I am going to create a local radio station it is important to see whether local news stories share the same conventions as national news stories and if they are constructed similarly. I will do this by using the Local News section on BBC news website.
